Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who it goes to, and how to get it back or get rid of it.

Who this covers
This policy covers the Game ON social product at dobrosports.com and the accounts, profiles, groups and games inside it. It explains how Live Sports Community (“Game ON”, “we”) handles personal information.
The short version. We collect what we need to run a social sports product and little else. We do not sell your personal information. Most of what we hold is content you chose to post, and you can delete it. Health-adjacent details get extra protection — see the Consumer Health Privacy Notice.
Information we collect
Account information
You give us this when you sign up and edit your profile:
- Display name and handle
- Email address
- Password, stored only as a salted hash — we never see the password itself
- Profile photo, bio, and home city, if you add them
- Favorite sport
Content you create
- Posts, including photos and video, captions, and the sport you tag
- Comments and likes
- Messages you send in group chats
- Groups you create, and their descriptions and images
Activity on the platform
- Who you follow and who follows you
- Groups you belong to and your role in them
- Games you host or are invited to, and your RSVP status
- Venues associated with games you take part in
Technical information
Collected automatically when you use the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, and error diagnostics. We use it to keep the service running, debug failures, and detect abuse.
Cookies
We set cookies that keep you signed in and preserve your session across page loads. These are strictly necessary — the product cannot work without them. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- Running your account and keeping you signed in
- Showing your posts to the people who follow you, and theirs to you
- Delivering group chat and game invitations to the right people
- Surfacing you in search to players and groups looking for someone to play with
- Sending service email: confirmations, password resets, and security notices
- Investigating reports, enforcing our Terms, and preventing abuse
- Diagnosing faults and improving how the product works
We do not use your content to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
What other people can see
A lot of Game ON is social by design, so it is worth being precise about who sees what.
- Public to anyone signed in — your display name, handle, photo, bio, home city, favorite sport, follower count, and your posts.
- Visible to a group’s members — your membership, your role, and everything you write in that group’s chat. Members who join later can read the history.
- Visible to a game’s participants — that you were invited, your RSVP, and the venue and time.
- Never shown to other users — your email address, your password hash, and anything you send us in a report or support ticket.
Private groups are hidden from search and require an invite, but they are private from the public, not from their own members.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account is open. Content you delete is removed from the product immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
When you delete your account we remove your profile, posts, comments and group memberships. Two things survive: messages you sent in group chats may remain visible to that group with your name detached, because deleting them would gut conversations other people are part of, and we retain the minimum needed to meet legal obligations and to keep a banned account from simply being recreated.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Depending on your jurisdiction you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
If you are in California, we confirm that we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of them, email privacy@dobrosports.com from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days.
How we protect it
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS and data is encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it, and database access is constrained by row-level security rules so one account cannot read another’s private data.
No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law. To report a vulnerability, email security@dobrosports.com.
Children
Game ON is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email privacy@dobrosports.com and we will remove it. Users between 13 and 18 should have a parent or guardian read this policy with them.
Changes to this policy
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. For changes that materially affect your rights, we will tell you by email or in the product before they take effect.
