About Game ON

Adults stop playing sports for boring reasons. Not because they lost interest — because the group chat went quiet, the one person who always organized moved away, or nobody wanted to be the one to ask “are we still playing Thursday?” The game does not usually end with a decision. It ends with a scheduling problem nobody picked up.

Game ON exists to pick that up. It is not a fitness tracker and it is not a league administrator. It is the layer that keeps a group of players in touch between games and makes proposing the next one a ten-second act rather than an errand.

• A feed of what the people you follow have actually been playing — posts from real games, not training plans.
• Groups for the people you play with regularly, each with its own chat. Some are open to anyone; some are private and invite-only.
• Games — a proposed time and venue that people RSVP to, so you know whether you have enough players before you leave the house.
• Profiles that say what you play and where, so a group looking for a fourth can actually find you.

Play is the point

Success is a game that happens, not time spent in the app. We would rather you close Game ON and go play than scroll it. Nothing here is engineered to keep you reading.

Small groups are the unit

Sport is social at the scale of a group chat, not an audience. We build for the six people who need a fourth on Thursday before we build for reach.

Every level counts

Beginners are not a lesser tier of user. A first-timer joining a pickup game is the whole point of the product, and the tone of the place should make that easy rather than intimidating.

A sports community only works when people feel safe turning up to meet strangers. Our Terms of Service set out what is not allowed — harassment, impersonation, and using the platform to put people at risk — and we enforce them.
